Block Splash Screen with SplashKiller
Some programs that you have installed might display splash screen or welcome screen whenever you launch them. The developers probably think that it is a good way to strengthen their brands, but I believe there are many users think that it is pretty annoying. What is the benefit of seeing such splash screen for the end users like us? None. That’s why a program like SplashKiller is created.
The main and the only thing that SplashKiller does is to prevent a program displays its welcome screen during the startup. The program stays on the tray when you run it and automatically blocks all of the splash screens. You can optionally exclude certain programs, however, if you don’t mind with their splash screens. To exclude a program, right-click the icon of SplashKiller on the tray, select “Config”, add the program to the “Ignored Application” list and hit the OK button.

During the test SplashKiller managed to block the splash screens from all of the programs I used for the test, which includes Picasa, AIMP, Wondershare Office Recovery, Sony Ericsson PC Suite and WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe. However, there are always chances that SplashKiller cannot block splash screens from certain programs.
SplashKiller is free, portable and it works with Windows.
