How to Completely Hide Taskbar in Windows 7, Vista, XP with Shortcut Key

Posted in Utility

Using Auto-Hide taskbar feature in Windows 7 only hides the taskbar as long as you don’t put mouse cursor at the bottom of the screen. If you need to completely hide taskbar, you can use Taskbar Eliminator.

Taskbar Eliminator is a portable freeware that makes it possible to hide taskbar in Windows 7, Vista and XP in just one press of a hotkey, Alt + T. This hotkey isn’t customizable, unfortunately. Optionally, you can have it to run automatically at Windows start. The program sits on the tray during its operation but it requires only a tiny portion of your system resources. To display the preferences window, press Ctrl + Alt + T.
