Delete Locked Folder & File Easily in Windows Explorer
The reason of a locked folder or file has never been clearly stated by Windows. Everytime you find a locked folder, what Windows does is simply warning you that it cannot be deleted because of some reasons like being currently used by other program. There are manual solutions for this like stopping and restarting explorer process, but sometimes it won’t work. The folder is still locked and the only manual solution left is to restart Windows to be able to unlock and delete it. The question is, should you restart your computer whenever you find a locked file or folder that you cannot delete or move? It does work, but definitely not the process everyone wants to go through.
So far I’ve used only Unlocker to move or delete locked file and folder and it has helped me a lot. In fact, it has never failed in unlocking any locked file or folder in my computer. Recently I have just discovered another similar interesting unlocker utility. It’s called LockHunter.

After clicking the command, you should see then a mini window displaying the programs or processes that are locking the folder or file. You can unlock to move it somewhere else or delete it right away. It’s up to you.
