Drive Icon Changer for Windows Vista
Drive Icon Changer is a freeware that will make you able to change the drive icon in Windows Vista easily. It is only a matter of a few clicks to replace the icon of every drive existing in Windows explorer.
Once you launch the program, use its drop-down menu to select the drive, browse and select the icon you want from your favorite icon gallery to replace the original, hit the save button and restart Windows.
The original drive icon can be restored if you aren’t satisfied with the change result.
What is done by this application is actually create an autorun.inf file for the drive whose the icon is going to be changed. A copy of the selected icon is put inside the root of the drive as well.
Drive Icon Changer for Windows Vista needs .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 to run. If you don’t have this in your computer yet, you have to download and install it first.
