Extract All RAR and ZIP Files in a Folder or Drive At Once
A simple job like extracting RAR and ZIP can become quite troublesome when you want to extract a large number of these archives at once. Supposed that you have 218 zip files in a folder and you want to extract all for some reason, extracting the archives one by one is a time wasting for sure. I have posted about how to extract multiple rar and zip files at once, but it requires you to go inside the folder. If you put the archives into different subfolders, the trick won’t be efficient anymore.
Unpacker is a free program build to extract rar and zip files in a large number at once even if the archives are located in many subfolders. Open Windows Explorer, right-click a folder and select “scan this directory with www.Unpacker” to get a folder and its subfolders scanned. The archives will be extracted automatically one by one, you’ll just have to wait until all completed. Optionally all the archives extracted can be cleaned up afterwards by the program.
