Freeware Folder Hider for Windows
If you hide folder using the standard way that Windows provides, it can be unhidden easily by anyone who knows what the “Folder Option” menu in Windows explorer can do. Using this standard way, thus, definitely not a recommended protection for your personal folders.
Free Hide Folder is a freeware that you should use if you simply want to hide your folder with some additional abilities like password protection feature.
To hide folders using Free Hide Folder you just need to launch the program and add the folders you want to hide to the list. To start hiding you can right-click a folder and select the “Hide Folder” option within the program. Optionally, you can also configure the program to hide all folders within the list once you close it. An individual folder can be unhidden while keeping the other folders hidden.

The password protection feature forces anyone to enter the correct password to be able to launch the program. Without the correct password, the program cannot be launched and, thus, the folders cannot be displayed or unhidden.

I’ve never thought that hiding folder can be so easy like this. Perhaps you can show us more freeware folder hider in the future.
