No need to modify some parts of your registry files. All you need is only an application that can hide file and folder. How to hide folders and files in USB drive
Install the application and then copy the directory of the program to your USB drive. After copying, launch the program from your USB drive. You will be asked to create a password for the application. You can change this password anytime later on if necessary.
Then, after creating the password, the main window of the application will be displayed. To start hiding files and folders, click “hide folder” to hide any folder you want, and click “hide file(s)” to hide your sensitive files.
To unhide the hidden folders and files, simply select the folders or the files and click “unhide”.
You can hide file and folder without copying the program’s directory to your USB drive, but you won’t be able to open the hidden files if you use another computer to access your USB drive. So, if you want to be able to access the hidden files in any computer, you should copy the program’s directory to your USB drive.

Superb. Just what home users need to safely and simply protect their most confidential data.
The most beautiful feature is that it simply hides away any folder or file no matter what the size, in one second.
Another useful and even more attractive feature is that it can hide files on a usb flash drive/ portable hdd. One has the option to view such a file on any other pc.
