Hide Windows Start Button with Start Killer

Hiding Windows start button might make you interested if you are looking for another way to make your taskbar cleaner. While hiding the Quick Launch can be easily done, hiding the start button is a different story since it doesn’t have a clear option to do so like the Quick Launch. In this case, Start Killer is perhaps a freeware you want to keep.

Hiding Windows start button with Start Killer doesn’t mean that you cannot access it anymore. Start Killer only hides the start button to gain more space in the taskbar. The start menu can still be launched using a shortcut key either WIN key or Ctrl+Esc.

There is no need to activate anything. The start button will be removed from the taskbar once you run the program. and will be restored once you close it. The icon of Start Killer is displayed in the tray by default, but it can also be hidden.
