mpTrim, that’s how they call it, is a freeware that works under Windows XP, Vista, NT4, Me, and Windows 98. It is a portable application, so you can run it from any of your portable devices like flash drive without install.
How to increase MP3 volume
- Click “open” to select a low-volume mp3 file.
- Click the “auto” button to let the program does the automatic volume analysis and suggests the best volume level for you.
- Optionally, you can drag the slide bar of the “volume control” to increase the sound manually according to your liking.
- Click “save” to overwrite the original mp3 file with the new enhanced one or click “save as” to leave the original mp3 file untouched.

Does not do large MP3 files. It has a maximum of about 7mins it can handle.
