Increase or Decrease Thumbnail Size and Quality in Windows Explorer
I have told you about Thumbnail Control that lets you to change the thumbnail size and quality in Windows explorer previously, now here you come another one.
It’s called ThumbTweak. The advantage of this freeware over Thumbnail Control is that you can preview how big or small the thumbnail will be. Instead of using slide bars, simply enter the desired size and quality value and the size of the thumbnail in the preview window will change accordingly. Or, you can just pick one of the provided preset values.
Unfortunately, since the preview doesn’t include any image but a rectangular box, you can only preview how big or small the size will be. There is no way to preview the result of the quality change. The only thing you can do to see how good the quality of the thumbnails are is by hitting the “apply” button and restart your Windows explorer.
The disadvantage of ThumbTweak is, compared to Thumbnail Control, it has to be installed.
