Minimize Active Window to Tray With A Shortcut Key in Windows

Minimizing opened windows to tray is good to help you to be more focused on certain tasks when your taskbar is crowded . Unfortunately, Windows doesn’t provide this ability by default. Moreover, some third-party applications allow users to put them to tray, but many others don’t let you to do so. This is why you might be interested in Tray Everything.

Tray Everything is a freeware built to put the selected windows to tray using several ways. You can do it from its main window, adding a new button next to the minimize button or directly using the minimize button of each opened window, or using a shortcut key to minimize an active window.

Interestingly, this freeware can also minimize inactive windows automatically after certain period of time.

Tray Everything supports password protection for each of the minimized windows as well. That means users must type the password to restore the window.

Tray Everything works for Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP and doesn’t require installation.
