Open Blocked Outlook Attachment with Outlook Attachment Enabler
If you cannot directly open attachments in Outlook, it means the file types of the attachments are considered unsafe by Outlook and, thus, blocked by Outlook. While this step is taken to ensure the security, it could be a bit intimidating if you know an attachment which is definitely safe but cannot be directly opened from Outlook. So, Outlook Attachment Enabler is built to tackle this obstacle by allowing you to open blocked outlook attachments and, furthermore, control which attachment types that are safe and unsafe.
The ability to control which attachment file types that should be blocked and that should be not makes you able to manage which ones you can open directly from Outlook. To open a blocked attachment file type, simply select the file type from the blocked attachments list and click “mark as safe” button. Additionally, you can also add another attachment file type that must be blocked by Outlook. Outlook Attachment Enabler is a freeware that works for Outlook XP, 2000, 2003 or greater on Windows 98 / ME / NT / 2K / XP / 2K3 / Vista.
