Optimize GIF, JPG & PNG Online – Supports Batch Optimization
If you’re running a blog and constantly update it, and if you always insert images into your posts, then optimizing images is definitely the task you’ve never left behind if you want to improve the loading speed of every page. You have probably used an installed image optimizer already, but if someday you’re in a situation where you have no access to the application, using an online image optimizer should be a good idea to consider.
PunyPNG is an easy-to-use, free online service that lets you optimize gif, jpg and png directly in your browser. You can optimize multiple images, but there is no information on how many files you can process at a time. The only note left is that each image you upload to the website musn’t more than 500KB in size. I guess it is safe, then, to assume that you can upload as many files as you like as long as the size of each image doesn’t exceed 500KB.
PunyPNG also supports Dirty Transparency that offers a better optimization for your PNG or GIF that has either 8-bit or 1-bit transparency. It makes you possible to save 10% to even 35%. Read here if you want to know more about this Dirty Transparency.

PunyPNG features:
- Optimize GIF, JPG and PNG online.
- Support batch optimization.
- Support dirty transparency.
- Optimize images as many as you want.
- Free.
- No registration required.
- Uploaded images are automatically deleted within 15 minutes.
There is a sort of optimization report that is displayed after each image is processed. You can view how much saving you can get for every image. In addition, you can select which files that you want to download. But if you’re satisfied already with all of the results, you can download all of the images at once.

If you need another similar service as an alternative, then check this free online image optimizer.
