Automatically Mute Windows Sound on Lock

Mute on Lock is a free application that lets you automatically mute Windows sound on lock. The sound is automatically unmuted when you unlock your computer. It stays on the system tray during its operation.

Additionally, the program also provides a customizable shortcut keys to mute/unmute speaker sound in case you want to do it manually in certain situations like when someone is calling you. Another shortcut key, that you can also change, is used to close the program.

Depending on your configuration, the app lets you enable/disable effect, mute/unmute sound, or show Options when you double-click the program’s icon on the tray. You can also configure it to launch automatically on Windows startup.

Mute on Lock works with Windows operating system which includes Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista, Windows 2008 Server, and Windows 7. It supports both 64-bit and 32-bit editions. There is also a portable version in addition to the installer.
