Mute Sound in Windows 7 in One Click

If you use the standard volume control in Windows 7, you have to click three times before you can finally mute sound. SndVolPlus, on the other hand, enables you to mute sound in just one click.

SndVolPlus doesn’t require installation. Once you double-click the exe file, a new volume icon will appear on the system tray. This icon looks very similar to the original volume icon, so you’ll need to hide the original icon to prevent confusion between the two. You can hide the original volume icon via the properties of the system tray and access Customize Notification Area. More »
