If you hide folder using the standard way that Windows provides, it can be unhidden easily by anyone who knows what the “Folder Option” menu in Windows explorer can do. Using this standard way, thus, definitely not a recommended protection for your personal folders.

Files that are compressed within zip or rar format can be downloaded faster, but the disadvantage from such an archive is that we cannot view the content before we download it. To view the content, we have to download the archive first and then open it with a zip or rar opener like Winrar or Winzip. What if you find later that the files you’re looking for aren’t within the archive that you have downloaded? If you just want to get a file with only 10 Kb in size from the archive, do you really have to download the whole archive to be able to get it? 
Here is the situation: you open a drive in Windows explorer like usual by clicking it, but instead of the content of the drive you encounter the Open With dialog. Or, some of you may find a message saying like “Windows cannot find this program or file“.
Locking CD/DVD drive to prevent drive eject isn’t really something that we need unless we often accidentally push the eject button. I rarely find myself or other users accidentally eject CD / DVD drive. However, things can go completely different if you have kids playing around. When they see the bllinking light of the drive at the time the CD / DVD is being processed, they are likely to come close and push the drive eject button.
