For everyone that has tested IE8 and dislike it, or for everyone that isn’t interested at all in installing IE8 in their Windows, the recent news that Microsoft is planning to push IE8 to every Windows users through the Windows Automatic Update channel should be a bad thing. Microsoft plans to push IE8 to Windows XP, Vista, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2003.

Fortunately, Microsoft doesn’t plan to automatically install IE8 in your Windows. Instead, you will be asked if you want to install it. Still, your Windows update will automatically download IE8 browser. If you don’t want to install it, then why download it? To prevent IE8 automatic download, Microsoft provides an official tool to disable it.
