Prevent Virus from USB Flash Drive Infects Computer
Viruses, worms, trojans and the likes do not only infect computer through downloaded files, but also from USB flash drives. Once a flash drive containing worm connected to a computer, the worm will replicate itself as many as it can, eating up your harddisk space and decreasing computer performance. Instead of disabling the USB autorun feature, this freeware USB Firewall alerts you whenever a malicious program tries to launch itself from USB drive using autorun.inf file.

Once a virus or worm detected and USB Firewall warns you, you can optionally view the autorun.inf by clicking the SHOW AUTORUN.INF button. Or, you can simply remove the autorun.inf if you remember that you don’t put any of it by clicking the DELETE button on the program. The function of USB Firewall is blocking any program from launching itself from an USB drive using autorun.inf. So, you won’t need any virus definition database update. USB Firewall is a freeware that works on Windows.
