Remove Scratches from iPhone – Step-by-Step Guide

If you have an iPhone that has scratches on it, then this is the guide you’ll need. This is a comprehensive guide to remove scratches from the back (using wet sanding method) and front side of your iPhone. The result was amazing. The iphone in the example was suffering from severe scratches before the removal, yet the end result of the process was able to produce an iPhone with a flawless look as if it were new.

The tools used to remove scratches from the iPhone’s back side:
- Sandpaper 320(or 500),800,1000,1500,2000,2500,3000 grit
- 3M Rubbing compound
- Machine Polisher ( Power Drill or small buffer)
- Microfibers
- Sticky tack and or tape
Or, you can just buy 3M headlight restoration kit (available at almost all car part stores) + 1000,1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper + a microfiber on the side
The tools used to remove scratches from the iPhone’s front side:
- Heat gun ( or a blow dryer)
- Latex Gloves
- Compressed Air
- Suction cup
- Prying tools
- E-xacto blade ( or something flat and thin)
- Small Phillips screwdriver
- Replacement parts for the LCD and front glass

Believe it or not you can actually use just silly old toot paste and it works to remove the basic and light scuffs that get on the back of it. I don’t even think they’re noticable if you have a white model but the black ones get really scratched up easily.
