Shutdown PC with Shortcut Key
If you’re a Windows user, DirectShutdown offers an alternative way to shutdown your computer. Windows indeed has made it easy for anyone to shutdown their computers, but if you want to do it a little bit faster, DirectShutdown allows you to shutdown, restart, hibernate, suspend, log off, or lock your PC with a customizable shortcut key.
You can instantly shutdown your PC without any confirmation window, but the program provides an option to display it if you prefer to have it instead. For each supported action, you can define its own shortcut key. What’s more, if you have encountered a consistent problem where your system unable to automatically shutdown running programs that aren’t responding, DirectShutdown will terminate every running program each time you shutdown your computer. Aside from the shortcut key, the supported actions can also be accessed through the program’s icon at the tray or through command-line.
