good morning,
yes hello my name is Fernie, i went through several hours trying to remove ie8, because every time i opened ie8 it would crash, just closes out on me, so here are the proper instructions on how to remove ie8….
>> uninstall service pack 3, from window xp
>> once uninstalled, restart computer, go to my computer, click on local disk, then go to program files, then delete internet explorer folder, deleting everything inside the folder, then go back to your local disk, click on the folder windows, then delete anything with ie8, or ie7 on it.
>> go to start , control panel , add or remove , click on updates, and ie8 won’t be there anymore…
>> (might want to use a different browser or a different computer)(recommended Mozilla, while ie8 is uninstalled) to go to http://WWW.Google.com, type in download window xp service pack 3, click on the Microsoft website…
>> once downloaded and installed, go to http://WWW.Google.com, and type in internet explorer 7, download ie7 and install it…
>> restart computer and you have service pack 3 with ie7 working….
Hope this helps, enjoy
Fernie
