View Zip / Rar File Content Online Before or Without Downloading

Files that are compressed within zip or rar format can be downloaded faster, but the disadvantage from such an archive is that we cannot view the content before we download it. To view the content, we have to download the archive first and then open it with a zip or rar opener like Winrar or Winzip. What if you find later that the files you’re looking for aren’t within the archive that you have downloaded? If you just want to get a file with only 10 Kb in size from the archive, do you really have to download the whole archive to be able to get it?

For Firefox user, there is an add-on called Archview that lets you to preview zip, rar and ISO content online before downloading. Furthermore, it also allows you to download only the files you want from the archive without downloading the whole archive. It means you can open the archive and preview the content just like when you read web pages. This ability will save your time and bandwidth.
